Update around Covid-19 Vaccination Programme (5th May 2021)

We are starting to release vaccine appointments at Ramsbury Surgery on the National Booking Service (NBS). Please be aware this will be the principle way of booking your vaccine going forward but we are starting slowly to see how it works for us as it's a very different way of running our Clinics. Please use the link here to go onto the NBS.

You can only use this service if any of the following apply:

- you're aged 40 or over

- you'll turn 40 before 1 July 2021

- you're at high risk from COVID-19 (clinically extremely vulnerable)

- you have a condition that puts you at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)

- you have a learning disability

- you're an eligible frontline health or social care worker

- you get a Carer's Allowance, get support following an assessment by your local authority or your GP record shows you're a Carer.

As you will be aware from the National Media, those in Cohort 10 (aged 45 - 49) are now eligible for their first Covid Vaccination. Vaccine supply for first doses continues to be limited for the next couple of weeks but then hopefully increases in availability from the middle of May. To date, we have offered all those patients who fall into Cohort 10 an opportunity to book their appointment. If you have been unable to attend our Clinic this week, please remember you can still go on the National Booking Service to get your vaccination elsewhere. For the next two weeks, we are very busy doing second dose Astra Zeneca and Pfizer clinics for those patients who are due.
